Eligibility

  • Ph.D. in Indigenous Studies, Humanities, Social Science, or Law.

  • Experience in using English as a medium of instruction.

  • Practical experience in working with Indigenous communities in Taiwan or overseas.

  • Suppose the recruited individual is a recent graduate who has not yet obtained a doctoral degree. They should provide a provisional degree certificate and relevant supporting documents in that case.

  • Resume (including publications within the past five years)

  • 3 letters of recommendation (can be sent by email)

  • Ph.D. dissertation

  • B.A./ M.A./ Ph.D. degree certificates and transcripts

Please submit the following certificate suppose you are a citizen of Taiwan and earned your Ph.D. overseas:
(1) Foreign degree verified by the Embassies and Missions Abroad, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan, R.O.C.
(2) Entry and exit dates

  • List of course releases for the Program

  • Applicants who were or are currently a Lecturer, Assistant Professor, or above in Taiwan, please submit the following:

(1) The certificate issued by the Ministry of Education (MOE)
(2) Course syllabus and evaluations from within the past five years

About the selection process

Assistant Professor (or above) at International Ph.D. Program
in Indigenous Studies

As part of the selection process, applicants shortlisted for interviews must demonstrate their English teaching skills to the Faculty Evaluation Committee.
